Charterhouse is delighted to announce that we are supporting The Walk Centre, a UK Registered Charity set up to support The Walk Children’s Church in the ‘Hilton Slum’, Nakuru, Kenya. The Walk Centre currently supports over 350 children and their families by providing grants to fund education and schooling, a feeding programme, as well as adult classes and wider community support projects. Alongside purchasing farm land to relocate families and help them become self-sufficient, expanding the feeding programme and providing medical assistance and shelter. In addition to this, we now recycle all our old computer equipment by donating it to Computers 4 Africa, who distribute it to some of the world’s poorest nations. This equipment will is sent to schools and community projects to enable African nations to become more completive in a global economy.
